Summer is here and we're looking forward to what comes during this season in South Florida. Our season includes mangoes, lychees, ciruelas (tropical plums), mamey, passion fruit and pineapple. Enjoy the corn, tomatoes, eggplant and squashes that are being harvested now.
Our new monthly market at Town Center at Boca Raton is a hit! The market started in April with French cheeses, local honey, cookies and cakes, ceviche and guacamole, orchids, bonsai, Italian olive oil, fresh gourmet cheeses, vegetables, French breads and pastries, jams and jellies, mushrooms, African market baskets, fresh potted herbs and more.
Some of our markets are taking a break for the summer but we still have many markets that run all year. They include: Lincoln Road farmers market (our oldest market) Normandy Village, Government Center, Civic Center, UM Medical Campus at Jackson Hospital, and our only evening market at the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center.
